By decapsulating its RS5 coupé, Audi is offering outdoor enthusiasts a high-performance convertible that hesitates between sportiness and grand touring, for sports enthusiasts in driving hair – and horses – in the wind. The RS5 Cabriolet is therefore the missing link in the RS range and it is above all the only one to offer four real seats on board. On the aesthetic side, we find the RS attributes (shields, inflated fenders, etc.) and the natural elegance of the A5 cabriolet which receives a real multi-layer canvas hood, which perfectly isolates air noise and above all does not weigh down the line. . Under the hood, we find indeed as is the engine-box assembly of the RS5 coupé, namely the naturally aspirated 4.2 V8 which offers 450 horsepower at 8,250 rpm, and 430 Nm, constant from 4,000 to 6,000 rpm. The box remains the excellent S-Tronic double clutch and the Quattro transmission is of course standard. Unsurprisingly, we find the straight finish of the coupe's cabin, excellent front roominess and the possibility of carrying two additional passengers in the rear, which were received rather generously.
