Lovers of winding seaside roads, hair blowing in the wind, will opt for the deep blue “Cabriolet” version, while thrill-seekers will no doubt choose the original silver gray “Coupé” version.

55 years after the presentation of the original model, the Porsche 911 is therefore renewed with an eighth generation, the 911 Type 992 that we have chosen as a CARRERA 4S Cabriolet model.
In terms of design, the front fenders are wider than on the previous model (+45mm in total) and the rear fenders are as wide as those of the 991 Carrera 4S. The mobile rear spoiler, invisible when inactive, has gained in width and also accommodates a lighting element.

The interior of the new 911 has been refined and modernized compared to the previous generation. Integrated into the dashboard is a new 10.9-inch touch screen. Porsche has operated a small revolution. There is thus a screen on each side of the tachometer, which remains analog. Said monitors display digital counters resembling the appearance of historic five-dial instrumentation.

These screens indicate a new high-tech direction for the GT 2+2 with in particular the arrival of a connected GPS as standard, and services such as the Road Trip application for route suggestions, the Porsche 360 personal assistant + or the Impact application which measures the CO2 emissions of car journeys.

Under the hood, there is a twin-turbocharged 3L flat-six. The block thus develops 450ch or 30ch more than before. The Carrera 4S model is the first to hit the market, exclusively fitted with a new eight-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox that is operated via paddles on the steering wheel or by a new small lever.
The 0 to 100 km/h requires 0.4s less than before with 3.4s for the Carrera 4S.
But to try it you will have to be patient and wait for the beautiful summer days!!!
