FIAT 500 1957

LA DOLCE VITA... A true icon of its time, the Fiat 500 was produced at 3,893,294 units during its career from 1957 to 1975. 
Born in 1957, the Fiat 500 is 2.97m long, 1.32m wide and 1.325m high, with a wheelbase of 1.84m. It weighs 470 kg empty and 680 kg fully loaded. 
The canvas roof covers the pavilion.
The 500 is fitted with a rear-mounted two-cylinder in-line, air-cooled petrol engine - the first of its type at Fiat - with 479 cc and 15 bhp. The gearbox is 4-speed, with quick engagement for 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. The brakes are hydraulic on all four wheels. The transmission features oscillating axle shafts, with rear wheel drive. Top speed of 90 km/h and average fuel consumption of 4.5 litres/100 km.
